Some wonderful black and white memories from the day!!

Shantel and Nat were married on New Years Eve 07. Both Bride and Groom were extremely relaxed and a pleasure to photograph. Albany put on a beautiful day for such a special occasion, showing lots of sunshine and blue skies!!.
This is just a sneak peak…more tomorrow

Kristy and Bear were married on November the 3rd last year. The day could not have been more perfect!! The Lily provided a stunning backdrop for the Ceremony and their portraits. Everyone was so relaxed and happy that it made my job an absolute pleasure. Congrats guys – and thanks for your patience!! Cheers

I was doing a portrait session of a local Scarborough priest Father Ryan, and during the session his very characteristic Bengal cats provided some light entertainment and have given me a new found apprecitation for cats!
Chris and I recently visited New Zealand and I was in absolute amazement of the countries beauty. I am so in love with the place! I can seriously say that I am going to make the effort to get back there as often as I possibly can. We started in Christchurch, made our way by train to Picton, crossed by Ferry to Wellington, bussed to Waipukarau, drove to Porangahau, drove to Napier, bussed to Auckland and then flew out – 10 days of absolute eye candy!
Porangahau is where Chris’s Step mum Suzanne was born and this place is a gorgeous little fishing town (like Peaceful Bay, WA) and we spent 5 days there, which included attending Suzannes fathers 80th. It was the full Maori celebration including the Hongi – but this is a whole other blog!!
A few of my fave’s so far:

Mountains at the back of Porangahau – Rainbow after the rain

Porangahau Beach

Road to Waipukarau from Porangahau – morning frost
One of the best concerts that i have been to, to date, is Angus and Julia Stone at the Capitol last month. They were more than I could have imagined and hoped for! The venue was perfect. I took my camera and two lenses along (which i dont normally do) and am stoked because the lighting was beautiful. Thanks so much to Terry for getting us tickets!! Great night all round! Below is a montage of my favourites pics.

Me and the gorgeous boy!

Perfect little family! And oh so trendy!

Havin a giggle!

Gorgeous boy! He is so addictive!

We have the cutest little Dove in our courtyard. She has made a nest in our outdoor setting umbrella! Chris looked inside the nest while she was away and there is one little egg inside but I couldn’t manage to get close enough without worrying about knocking the nest! Her hubby has been for regular visits too!! So cute! =)
Roxy and Dave bought this beautiful little boy into this world on Anzac day of this year.
He is the most amazing little guy! I took these photos when he was just over a week old!
This weekend is his christening and I cant wait to take pics of the little man in his suit!!
